Overall Conclusion

Apart from the difficulty of this project i found i wanted to produce a simplistic and effective piece which effortlessly got to the point of what i wanted to address. The two issues that we were given were not something typically that any of us would probably choose which was the difficult part, of trying to portray an opinion on an issue that most of us hardly knew anything about apart from if we had seen it on the news or seen in the newspapers.

In my final cut video i have improved the audio, the order of things, the transitions and text which i feel have made a difference. I wanted the tone of my video to be quite formal and to make the reader think about the reality of the bankers world.

This is a rough un-finished version of my video still needs alot of editing but its a basic idea of what i want to address.

Progression (Critical Roles)

Throughout this project i researched and developed further into the Fred Goodwin case regarding his knighthood being stripped. I wanted to address the main points and involve them into a valid and interesting video.
Firstly i went through newspaper articles which i gathered and highlighted the key points which i thought was relevant that i could involve.
I also collected images which i thought were important to involve, creating an atmosphere i added a recording which i gathered from the the channel 5 news website to get a sense of commentary.

'Critical Roles'..... Fred Goodwin

This project is still in working progress but at the start of the project we were given two issues to deal with: 

• Bankers Bonuses 
• Dale Farm

As its not obvious i chose to create a video on Fred Goodwin and how his knighthood got stripped, I gathered research and wanted to create an opinion FOR it being done.
Below are videos which i thought related and linked towards the subject i have been working on. Its not quite bankers bonuses but thought it was relevant to what can happen when things go wrong.

'Narrative Digital Media Project' LONDON

   
Screen based project based on the theme of 'Identity' i chose to interpret how i see London. 

'Letterform, Message and Meaning'

 

An experimental project taking the letter 'G' and transforming it with different typefaces. Also it shows the contrast between positive and negative space using the basic colours of black and white.

'Construction,the structure of text and image'

Experimenting with alignments in main text, 

throughout this project it made me realise of how i look at text in general and how important it is to make text easy for the reader to read.

'Photography Elective'

For 5 weeks i had an opportunity to work in a different department within my university, i chose to do photography which is a hobby of mine anyway and had some experience in the subject. My objective was to produce photograph/s relating to the subject of 'time'. I went down the route with architectural decay and how things change. 

'Typography, Letterform and Sense Of Place'

Poster based on 'Brick Lane' i produced a street sign image to create a sense of place, i filled it with adjectives to reflect the area itself.
